Dr. Dinusha Dilrukshi is a qualified Ayurvedic Practitioner with more than 10 years of professional experience in Ayurvedic practice. She completed her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, including clinical training and internship.
Her professional experience includes private Ayurvedic practice in Sri Lanka from 2014 to 2018, followed by service as an Ayurvedic Medical Officer in the Government Ayurvedic Health Service from 2018 to 2023. Her clinical experience also includes providing Ayurvedic care to international clients, including clients from Europe.
After moving to Australia in 2023, Dinusha established Ayura Wellness Clinic. She now provides personalised Ayurvedic consultations and traditional Ayurvedic treatments at Warragul Natural Health.
Areas of Care
Dinusha offers individualised Ayurvedic support for a range of health and wellbeing concerns, including joint and arthritic concerns, back and shoulder pain, sciatica and nerve-related concerns, frozen shoulder and mobility concerns, digestive health, women’s wellbeing, stress, fatigue and sleep concerns, weight and metabolic health, and general wellbeing.
Personalised Ayurvedic Approach
Each consultation considers the individual’s current concerns, lifestyle, diet and digestion, sleep patterns, and Ayurvedic body constitution (Prakriti and Vikriti). Based on the consultation and individual assessment, a personalised care plan may include lifestyle and dietary guidance together with appropriate traditional Ayurvedic treatments.
Treatments
Treatments may include Abhyanga, Shiro Abhyanga, Pada Abhyanga, Pinda Sweda, Swedana, external Lepa with fomentation, Shirodhara, Kati Basti, Janu Basti, Nasya and other traditional external Ayurvedic therapies. Nila Treatment may also be incorporated when appropriate following individual assessment.
